Refund Policy
🔹 Refund Policy
Effective Date: May 26, 2025
At Maxwell Law Group, PLLC, we are committed to providing high-quality legal representation and emotional support services. Please read our Refund Policy carefully, as legal services and therapy services differ from typical consumer goods and are subject to specific conditions.
1. Legal Services
Retainer Payments
-
Retainer fees are deposits for legal work and are held in a client trust account.
-
Fees earned for time worked, case preparation, document drafting, court appearances, or client communication are non-refundable once those services have been performed.
-
Any unused portion of a retainer may be refundable, subject to a final invoice and reconciliation of services rendered.
Flat Fees
-
Flat fees are typically non-refundable once work has commenced, as they represent a commitment of attorney time and resources.
-
Exceptions may be made at our discretion in limited circumstances and must be requested in writing.
2. Therapy & Emotional Support Services
Subscription Plans (Court Support Vault, Starter, Growth, Commitment Plans)
-
Clients may cancel their subscription at any time; however, refunds are not issued for sessions already delivered or missed without 24-hour notice.
-
If a client cancels prior to the start of a new billing cycle, no further charges will be incurred.
-
If extenuating circumstances arise (e.g., medical emergency), a partial refund or credit may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
One-on-One Sessions
-
Individual therapy or coaching sessions must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged.
-
No-shows or late cancellations will be billed in full, and no refunds will be issued.
